Sundays... The sunday series part 1

Well hey there internet,
Ahh Sundays. A day where the world is lazy together ...
The thing about Sundays is that there's good things and bad things about it.
The good things being that it's the weekend and no need to do to anything whatsoever and you can just laze around all day in your pyjamas etc
The bad things about Sunday tend to happen if you did not have a productive Saturday.
You may be stressed about something you have to do by Monday.
You may have a test on Monday and are panicking about it.
You can't seem to psych yourself up for the week ahead because you just dread the long week.

My advice is: Stop worrying.

There is no point worrying about something that hasn't happened yet because you don't know what the world has in store for you.

Take Sunday as a day to cut off from your responsibilities and just indulge into a day about yourself and mentally preparing for the week ahead.
Focus on Sunday not Monday.  When Monday comes along then you can sort go ahead and plan out the week.
The way I relax on Sundays? well I lounge about around the house pretty much the whole day. I pamper myself by having a bath and groom myself.
I do a couple of chores like vacuuming to make myself feel mentally good so I don't go crazy about being unproductive.
I workout to make my self feel physically good.
I go browse on my phone and social media and watch YouTube videos that are funny or inspiring to make me feel emotionally good.
And then in the evening I play some gentle music to help me settle down for the night.

This is lush bath bomb.  They were made for Sundays.

If you're not a bath person then a long shower is just as fine.

This is called dragons egg. Although it seems like a big white ball once you drop it in it releases bursts of colour until you are left with a nice orange colour in the bath water along with a citrus scent that would have probably caught your nose by now.

Hope you enjoyed part 1 of this sunday series

Question of the day : what do you do on Sundays?

Stila Brow colour

Well hey there internet,

When I made my first ever trip to Sephora I only bought 2 things.

One of those purchases were the Sephora oil blotting sheets which were useful during my holiday as for some reason my face just so happened to start getting oily even though I have quite dry skin.
Anywho nevertheless they came in handy.

The other purchase was this :

This is the stila stay all day waterproof brow colour. Bit of a mouthful..

Now I'm going to be honest here, I'm not that much of a brow person. (apologies to the brow lovers out there)

As long as the shape is fine and they don't look like two slugs above my eyes I'm good to go.
And when I'm attempting to make my face look half decent in the morning my eyebrows are not my priority...  It's the panda like dark circles under my eyes.

I do actually own a brow pencil including this one but that was to fill in the large bald patch I have that I had before I started getting my eyebrows done.

So I decided to give this a try seeing as though I wanted to try new things and I wanted to splurge on stuff etc.

And I must say I am quite impressed.

I'm not totally in love with it and if I had to live life without it I could definitely cope without it.  But it makes a nice (but very subtle) to my brows.

I think it's great for when your eyebrows are starting to grow back and you want to neaten them up a bit.

And I could see why people are very into perfecting their eyebrows. It definitely adds a nice touch to your overall look.

However it's not a product that I would use on a  daily basis because firstly it was kind of pricey for the amount of product that comes in it (£13.50 which is about $21) and secondly like I said on a  daily basis I don't focus on the brows but you never know that could change in the future.
So would I buy this again?  We'll have to see, but for now it's not a bad product.

I've definitely done a lot of alternative methods to fill in my eyebrows that I might just share in another blog.

So to sum up,

If I could describe this product in an analogy it would be this :

It's like buying trying out that fancy, slightly expensive, slice of cake.  It's tastes pretty good.  There's nothing wrong with it and it was great as a treat,  but it wasn't so tasty that you'll buy it again and again. And if it decided to stop selling,  you wouldn't be devastated by the news.

Was that a good analogy?

Anywho,
Question of the day:
Have you tried this? And what's your opinion on the whole 'brow game'?
